My long term goal for my machining hobby was to build a 60-ton Class "C" 3-truck Shay Locomotive in 1.5" scale like the one pictured above. This model wa to use live steam and strong enough to pull 27 adults behind it. The source of castings and drawings can be found at http://www.shaylocomotive.com/.

I just don't have the time to continue with this project and would like to have someone else take on the parts for building this wonderfull locomotive.
